Suggestions to Help

People have heard about helping the earth but a lot have not been able to think of anything to do,so we have decided to list some ways to help the earth.

1.Don't put clean clothes in the washing machine. It wastes water.
2. Don't put recyclables in the trash.
3.Recycle scraps of paper by making them into notebooks.
4.Buy and use your own cloth bags to hold groceries at the store.
5.Turn the water off when you brush your teeth.
6.Fix water leaks. They can waste over 20 gallons of water per day.

We just want to help, bye!:)

  3. This blog is such a neat idea! I love your suggestions - keep them coming! Oh, and I have another one, similar to the teeth-brushing one:
switch off the shower when you are soaping and shampooing - not only does it save water, it also makes sure that there is enough warm water left for the next person. :)

  4. this is awesome.

here's one more that i recently learned from my friend. only wash your clothes in cold water. there was some research that was done that showed that washing in warm or hot water does not increase the clothes cleanness. washing only in cold is all that is necessary.

  7. These are great ideas! Thank you for thinking about the Earth! You can make a difference.

My niece's school in Pennsylvanie started a no-trash lunch this year. The students started the movement, and now they wash their trays, bought real utensils and plates, and stopped throwing away hundreds of pounds of garbage everyday. They even compost their leftovers.
